As they carry me into the nut house, I'll be mumbling incoherently about Feather Down and Manchester Tan while cursing Benjamin Moore.
Can you tell that there are three paint colors in this photo?? (If so, for the love of Pete, tell me which one looks best)
No. I cannot tell at all. :-( you need more drama. I'm still all about the Manchester Tan, but I think it's just the name, because I really can't SEE it. I keep thinking it's my monitor, but I think it's your paint...I'm going to google.
ReplyDeleteI think you're putting too much thought into the color tan for a house you want to move out of (eventually). It's just paint. And given that you've lived in a house for many months with randomly painted test strips over the walls and a gapy microwave, I think you'll survive whatever neutral-off-white-almost-light-tan color you choose...seriously can't even tell the difference in this picture. And I highly doubt friends and family will be walking into your house enamored by the name of the paint on your walls.
ReplyDeleteYea, unfortunately we don't know exactly when we'll be moving. We hope in the next few years, but it's not like we're in the process of selling. I DO have to live with the color. I'm not so much worried about other people loving it (or the name of it?), I need to like it. And since we're painting a huge portion of the house this color (living room, dining room, kitchen, and stairway with very high out-of-reach ceilings) it HAS to be right. It's not as if we can slap on the walls one afternoon and re-paint next week if we don't like it. It's going to be a lot of paint to buy and a lot of time to get it done. So, the search goes on. I'm picking up more chips today!
